Civil society organisations have reacted to former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's invitation to meetings of the government's resignation, as well as to any important decision that could potentially be voted on by the resigned government.

The Kosovo Institute for Justice, the Institute for Policy Development, the Kosovo Institute for European Policy and the Initiative for Progress, says that the government backed up from July 19th, has no legitimacy to continue with the implementation of its governing plan, and any attempt to make important decisions during this time, because it conflicts with the fundamental principles of law rule and good governance.

“We provide the former prime minister and government in resignations that, until the new government is elected, they will only take care of the exercise of tasks and responsibilities necessary to keep the state administration functional to prevent institutional vacuum. The government in resignation has no government mandate to continue with the implementation of its policies, as has the provisions for the government's next meeting, as if nothing had happened. In this situation where the country is located, we seek out civil society organisations from the government's resignation that it will not take any action to make important decisions, contrary to any suspicious decision, the State Attorney must act in the direction of following each senior state official, from the prime minister to all the cabinet of ministers and other public officials, who exploit the situation created to make important decisions that can only be made by a legitimate government. We (C) civil society organisations appeal to the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, who in the sense of meeting constitutional obligations towards ensuring the constitutional functioning of the established institutions with the Constitution, is not wasting time, but to take urgent measures that, in consultation with political parties, go towards resolving the legitimate <x1) institutions, it is said in response.
