Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brnabiq has shown hope that Kosovo leaders will have the needed courage and responsibility to change their decisions and continue the dialogue, the Serbian public broadcaster RTS reports.
We are ready every day to go back to the negotiating table and continue with the dialogue. This is the only way to have stability in Kosovo and Metohija so people can live peacefully,” has told Brnabiq journalists.
She pointed out a survey conducted in Kosovo, where 91% of the population living there had indicated that they do not want to have frozen conflicts or status quo.
“They want the dialogue to continue and I hope leaders in Pristina will listen to their citizens and have political courage and responsibility for making decisions that are in the best interests of not only Serbs and Albanians, but of the entire region”, Brnabiq said.
At the same time, it has praised President Macron's visit to Serbia, saying it will help position Serbia.
I think the visit went better than we could have imagined. We deeply appreciate all that President Macron said during his visit to Serbia, all support signals, and perhaps even the most powerful signal so far, that nothing has ended and that dialogue must continue,” underlined Brnabiq.
