This year, Rada is participating for the first time in the fair of artisans, national clothing and traditional foods, which is being held in the context of “>Days of the diaspora”, which has collected participants from numerous cities.
Its works are easily noticed because they are delicately and carefully chosen and coloured, but yet Rada says handwork is not paid off because prices must adapt to economic conditions in the country.
The fact that he has attended training in Turkey has helped him master the art of burning in wood, but shows that there are still difficulties along the way.
Even 83-year-old Mustafe Ramadani from Pristina has chosen to engage in any activity after retirement.
He tells of Kosova Prees, that he has chosen to deal with the work of objects from wood. It shows that he is satisfied with participating in the fair, as the municipality inspectorate is not allowing them to sell on the streets, which is making it difficult for them to sell products.
Ramadani says his products have costs, while not sold enough.
DYljana Ndoci, has come from Shkodra to attend the artisan fair.
The long route they took is difficult for him, since he says they do not receive financial support. And yet, she feels satisfied with the welcome she finds in Kosovo.
The consequence is happy that citizens are interested in its work, as it works with great devotion and satisfaction.
Sylbyje Sahiti of the Lipjan municipality reported that she regularly attends fairs, so the tea shows whether she is satisfied with the fair's conditions.
Jehona Abdullahu Dabiqi, who has come from Decani to offer to the citizens and exiles of local honey, is also pleased with the organisation of this fair.
The fair of artisans, national clothing and traditional foods is being held within “Dites of the diaspora”, and will be closed today, on July 27th. Citizens can buy various local products which are displayed throughout the day in “Square. Skenderbeu” in Pristina.
