US Ambassador Has a Message for Kosovo Politicians

Senator Bob Dole's birthday begins with building a bust in his honor.

So Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj announced today, under which the idea of building this bust had come from citizens.

It's a good time to wish our friend a happy birthday. I just help, the initiative has come from citizens, from businesses, from the American Oda in Kosovo to start the project for a memorial for Senator Bob Dole”, Haradinaj said.

According to him, Senator Bob Dole's visit during the 1990s to Kosovo had turned our country around.

“was 1990, the first visit of the delegation of senior American senators to Kosovo, which was a turning point for us”, Haradinaj said.

US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Costett said he feels honored for the initiative to build the bust for Senator Dole.

“Bob Dole has always seen the cause for freedom, so it is not the innovation he has supported Kosovo's freedom efforts”, he said.

Kostett stressed that friendship between the US and Kosovo does not depend on any specific political party or individual.

Everyone would do well to follow Bob Dole's philosophy. There are opponents in politics- not enemies”, the US diplomat said.

Construction of Senator Bob Dole's bust will be made by the renowned artist Luan Mulliq.

Despite the journalists' insistence, outgoing Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj refused to answer their questions. /A. Hoxhaj/
