UMIB has announced that the KSHC has re-accredited 8 programmes operating within Mitrovica University faculties, reports news.
The report says UMIB is awaiting an official decision by the KSHC concerning these reaccredits.
Below, read the complete announcement:
State Quality Council (KSHC) has re-accredited 8 programmes operating within Mitrovica University faculties “Isa Boletin” (UMIB). These programmes, at the Bachelor and master level, have been reaccredited for a period of 3 years. Currently in UMIB there are a total of 18 programmes on both levels.
Meanwhile, UMIB is awaiting an official decision by the KSHC concerning institutional re-accreditment in order to exploit the right to complaint. UMIB leaders are convinced that arguments that are convincing to get a positive response to institutional accreditation.
The KSHC's decision on institutional non-recognition that unable to register young students in the 2019/20 academic year is deemed scandalous, unbased in the actual and very harmful state of the region's University and Youth. As a result, intervention of the heads of institutions of the Republic of Kosovo is required to prevent such irresponsible acts of the KSHC.
For any innovation regarding developments dealing with institutional reaccreditation, the opinion will be announced over time. While students who are part of UMIB are informed that UMIB will not close and they will continue their studies normally.
