27 civil society organisations and 6 individuals have come to the support of the State Council of Quality, regarding the decision made days ago for failing to discredit certain universities.

Through a joint statement, they have confirmed the determination to preserve the independence of educational institutions.

This joint statement confirms our civic determination to quality in higher education through maintaining the independence of educational institutions.

We also earnestly ask the prime minister, the minister of education, and other government officials to withdraw from the public pressure being put on the Agency”, the media report said.

Below:

THE DEATH OF THE UNITEDS FOR THEIR COSOVAL PEACE FOR AKREDITION

We underestimated, through this joint statement, confirm our civic determination to quality in higher education through the preservation of the independence of educational institutions. Through this statement we earnestly ask the prime minister, the minister of education, and other government officials to withdraw from the public pressure being put on the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation. We also urge them not to take any action on accredited issues, as this would be contrary to the laws in force, with the principle of independent functioning of the Accreditation Agency and open opposition to student interests. The eventual exclusion of the Kosovo Agency for Discension from the European Association ENQA due to intervention in its independence will cost Kosovo students, whose diplomas will be dismissed and ongoing study procedures abroad will be difficult.
We vow to do everything in our hands as citizens, civil society organisations and other active groups, not to allow the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation's independence and other educational institutions in our country.
