We have a flow of about 100 patients over the past two months. All cases have been treated professionally and removed from the ticks and there are no other complications”, he said about RTV Dukagjin, Besnik Ibraj.
Ibraj added that concern is increasing the number of patients.
According to him, in the first six months of this year alone, emergency treatment has taken over 15,000 patients.
“We can say that we have about 3 thousand patients a month and in the first six months of this year we've had about 15 thousand patients seeking medical assistance”, Besnik Ibraj further added.
Ibraj has recommended that citizens avoid staying in nature without long clothes, staying away from animals that are potential carryers of the ticks.
