Women's Network reacts: Let the case of Peter Noecaj not become retrial

RRGK says Noecaj had done the murder on purpose and that the Supreme Court's decision to retrial the case is unfair.

At the time of the incident, witnesses said that other children of the couple were present, who were also able to suffer the shots of Peter Nockiy. For these works, the Court of Appeals justly sentenced him to life imprisonment”, the RGK's reaction says.

In response, the return to the Noecaj case trial reportedly affects loss of confidence in the justice system for potential victims of domestic violence.

“RGK considers that retrial for these acts directly affects the loss of confidence in the justice system for potential victims of domestic violence and family members. The punishment of the killers, especially of those who are legally known as domestic violence massacres, such as Peter Noecaj's case (remember that the same has been held in custody because since in the presence of children he had exercised domestic violence against the already deceased) shows that the justice system protects victims of domestic violence and that the result of this type of violence is not tolerated” is highlighted in response.

Peter Nocway in August 2018 killed his wife and daughter. He had initially been placed in prison terms of 24 years, but after numerous protests and reactions, the Court had made the decision that Noceaj be sentenced to life in prison.
