Wessel is criticising EULEX, Thaci gives former chief credit medal

Hashim Thaci has announced in his Facebook account that he has decorated former Eulex chief and former KFOR commander, Mr. Xavier Bout de Marnhac, with presidential credit medals, writes Periscopi.

Thaci says he “has made a valuable contribution to strengthening peace and stability in our country. ”

This decoration came after a series of criticisms the president's former presidential party, Kadri Wessel, had made in response to the international mission in question. Wessel had justified the initiative for the special tribunal that he would investigate and judge crimes committed by Serbian forces, saying international justice had failed.

At the Presidential Medal of Merits, today I also decorated the former commander of KFOR and then his former chief. EULEX in Kosovo, Xavier de Marac. He made a valuable contribution to strengthening peace and stability in our country. HTH
