Vuciq cancels participation in Kosovo's 2019 Minsk, yet Majlinda grabs Golden

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has confirmed he has not participated in opening the European Sports Games in Minsk, due to Kosovo's participation in this sports manifestation.

“People have taken care of us in all ways. I'm sorry if I let down the Belarusan host, but I don't have a choice”, Vuciqi was quoted as saying. Serbia's president has said Serbia is grateful that Belarus has not recognised Kosovo's independence.

While President Hashim Thaci has said that the passing of Kosovo athletes with Kosovo's flag in Belarus is the victory of the Kosovo state.
