Flaka Surroi in her new column, which was published today at the KOHA portal, has made a summary of Kosovo's political history in the past 20 years, starting from June 11th 1999 to today on June 11, 2019.
Surroi relates how the 11 June 1999 day had actually not been as celebrated in Pristina as liberation days, but the day of plunder by Serb forces on the run. Later, it relates how the plunder of Serbs followed the plunder of KLA people, with only evidence of the known inscription “U n CK, don't touch”.
Then, at short points, Mrs. Surroi sums up the mismanagement and constant disappointment with the political class.
In one of the most important parts of the writing, Surroi counters the KLA war, saying that actually this political-military formation did not release us, but it was NATO.
