Two years without new specialists, the competition is not expected to open even this year

It's been nearly two years since the Ministry of Health has not launched a competition for new specialists. MSH officials say they are planning a plan, but still do not know when the contest will be opened, while professors warn of lack of specialists. And they have not even allowed themselves to hope that [...]
Institutions in Kosovo have been alarmed for several years for lack of anesthesiology specialists. This is due to the fact that the majority of young doctors on this issue are leaving Kosovo for better conditions in European countries. But that is not the only reason. The lack of anesthesiologists is also contributing to the failure to open the competition for specialization from the Ministry of Health, writes Schneta newspaper.
KKUK Anastasia Clinic Director Prof. Asce. Dr. Nehat Battiu says they need specialists in this paper. “The need is great, given the fact that only in recent months have 10 young anesthesiologists, 5 specialists and 5 specialists left Kosovo. Now calculate that it takes us five years to form a new anesthesia specialist. It's too bad it's been done almost two years without a competition of”, Baftiu has declared.
But about 400 young doctors currently in Kosovo seem to miss this year as well. Health Ministry officials at the helm with Minister Uran Ismaili do not know when this contest will open. And they didn't even let it open this year. They say they are making a human and professional health resources plan for the next two years, under which the needs and distribution of new specialisations will be shown.
“Plan is expected to be completed very soon and then specialisation contests will be opened on its base. So it's working on getting new specializations this year”, says the response of the MSH Information Office.
The lack of specialists not only leaves void in health services, but also jeopardises the emptying of Kosovo by young doctors. But MSH says wages have increased and conditions have improved so they can find themselves by their profession in the country. The S.H.A. has confirmed that completion of the Administrative Guide for Special Schooling is under way, while declaring that the competencies on this issue will be carried to Oda Doctors when they are ready to exercise.
The chairman of the Kosovo Medical Oda, Dr. Pleaments Sejdiu, has declared that joint group M The US-OMK has made analyses and proposals to the minister Ismaili for carrying competencies, and this is expected to be decided after an analysis by his cabinet.
“The OPC considers it ready to begin with acquiring competencies even in this area, gradually and periodically. This because even within this process are components of the” process.
The bar of these components in a gradual way would be good and I believe that the submissive process of legal oversight on the part of MS would be successful and increase quality. In any process, decentralisation increases responsibility and responsibility for quality”, Sejdiu has declared.
Two weeks ago, there was an OMK representative of the Germany Medical Oda Domen Podnar. Sejdiu has said that of the practices presented by Podnar for specialisations, it turns out they are almost the same between Germany and Kosovo. Sejdiu has finally declared that regional hospitals most need new specialists.
