A certain segment in the prosecutor is related to politics and this is abuse of office through the extraction of the investigative secret. Politics aimed at publishing for conversations to look like a German discovery, and on the other hand, it took them out at the moment when we expect to get a green light for negotiations. This is a food intended to poison people here and there in Europe, when they hear “Mafia here, the Mafia there!”, Rama said.
Rama made these comments during a conversation at the Vizion Plus Real Story programme studio. He said it is a dirty game aimed at hitting the government and image of the country from the point of view of integration.
“I am disgusted with their wiretapping and using, because they can be extracted from context and can be introduced into another context. Dako is no longer a candidate for the municipality of Durres, is a free citizen who can answer for the events on his own. There's an ugly one, and I'm sick of such conversations, and they're tissue and not” evidence, he said.
The prime minister said the topic of legal wiretapping is a disaster, because it is the prosecutor's responsibility to keep the secret, while the police were initiators of tracking that group and now they are in prison.
“The decision not to re-channed took on Vangush Dako himself, who, after 3 mandates as municipal, and after numerous public attacks, no longer wanted to be the target for a conversational installation, which has nothing to do with vote buying. In the face of justice, each must prove his own guilt or innocence, and Dako is investigative and willing. Albanians are very clear that there is a dimension to be whitened by the prosecution”, Rama said, broadcast Voa.
Some wiretapping of the investigative file for the group of Brothers Avdylaj, suspected of activity in the drug field, published by the German newspaper Bild, have once again restored the subject of Socialist officials' connections in Durres with crime elements and the impact of the latter on the 2017 election campaign.
The hearings highlight the direct links that Astrit Avdylaj, leader of the group, held with Durres Mayor Vanjoush Dako, with current Socialist Party for the Together of Shijak Elton Arbani, as well as Avdyray's commitment to secure votes for the Socialist Party and one of its candidates, current MP Ilir Ndaj.
After publishing the first wiretapping, the current mayor of Durres Vangjush Dako has repeatedly denied his recognition with the Avdulaj group leaders, claiming that during an election campaign he meets with many people. He has come to his defense and Prime Minister Edi Rama, also speaking of casual contacts during electoral activities.
But the publication by the German newspaper Bild, of the conversations bugged by the Albanian Prosecution, testifies that Mr. Dako had much more than a casual acquaintance with Astrit Avdulaj, even with a former convicted killer Veth Allaha. Even Avdulaj turns out to be aware of the meetings Dako held with the prime minister.
