When the shots were heard, patrols consisting of two Swiss soldiers' cars were launched to carry out KFOR's mission in the area of responsibility, in the region of Zubin Potok in northern Kosovo.

The Swiss patrol was near the village of Zupc when Kosovo police faced gunfire.

The Swiss “soldiers in the first car and took refuge and managed to escape without injuries”, Swiss Army spokesman Daniel Sekler said about “Blic”.
