The issue Thursday has also been discussed at the North Mitrovica Municipal Assembly meeting. Opposition party “SDP Oliver Ivanovic” has proposed adopting a joint statement. But the mayor of the municipality, Goran Rakic, has said he will first meet with businessmen and citizens before making any decisions.
But Albanian advisers in the Northern Mitrovica municipality have said the situation is not as dramatic as it is trying to present itself.
According to the member of the Parliament, Bashkimli Bashkimli, stores in Bosniaks' Lagen, and the Three Rrokaqij are continuing to work normally. In the area linking the two cities, to the Bosniaks' neighbourhood respectively, there are mixed businesses of Serbs, Albanians and Bosniaks.
