A man died after being stabbed east of London early this morning, becoming the fourth victim to be killed in the capital since Friday.
The last victim, believed to be in his 40s, was found wounded by a knife at Stratford about 12:40 a.m., and was declared dead a few minutes later, Periscope follows.
Police have said they know the man's name in question but have not yet published it. Detectives from the Metropolitan Police have launched investigations into crime scenes, but have not made any arrests.
Speaking before the last murder, Deputy Commissioner Matthew Twist said police officials were going on patrol through specific locations “to prevent further violence from spreading and to provide security to communities in those areas”.
The circumstances, causes and motives for any murder or incident with serious violence are different and unique, and require different investigative strategies. ” he added.
