Murati: Haradinaj once had no interest in dialogue, has now regretted it and is trying to get his hands on it

A secret meeting was held yesterday in Berlin between Kosovo and Serbia. Dust led to Kosovo's representation of the state of Kosovo with two very non-compliable people there. Ambassador to the United Emirates Avni Arifi and Ramush Haradinaj adviser Selim Selim Selimi, along with an international lawyer, met Marko Djuric, as reported in the media for [...]
Political Affairs Awareer Artan Murati in a statement for Periscope has said this is happening as a result of the very complications Kosovo is represented in the dialogue with Serbia.
The question of representation of the Republic of Kosovo in talks with Serbia is now complicated, and this complication has largely brought Prime Minister Haradinaj's own refusal to participate or address the dialogue seriously since he received his mandate as prime minister, Haradinaj has not shown any great interest in dealing with dialogue, Murati said.
Murati says it is at least up to Avni Arifi to go to such a level meeting, calling this development completely absurd.
At least it is up to an accredited ambassador to the United Arab Emirates to deal with dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. Unfortunately, this process has been left in some way as an orphan, without someone who will respond directly to all the acts of dialogue, because that's how it went from the beginning when the dialogue started in 2018, as has been the technical dialogue even now political dialogue. There is a constant lack of seriousness on the part of the Republic of Kosovo to deal with dialogue properly, even if it actually happened, this is certainly absurd. Even I don't know what powers Mr. Arifi or anyone else can speak about, since even the national delegation is currently being handled by the Constitutional Court and let alone have other second-hand persons who go and talk about Kosovo's future in relation to a final agreement with Serbia, Murati has said.
He even thinks this is Ramush Haradinaj's intervention to take over dialogue, though he had once refused it.
If it's already happened, it's probably Mr. Haradinaj's intervention to try through someone reliable and turn the dialogue into more or less of his own hands and see what he or his people can do specifically for this process. Having recently given up voluntarily some time ago, it is probably now in a tendency to return it to its own hands, in spite of the great importance this process has for Kosovo's future, ndodha Haradinaj regrets that it has been rejected from dialogue since the beginning, he adds.
Murati doubts this may also be international pressure to live up to the agreement on the Association of Serb-run municipalities.
The next explanation I don't know what it could be, I don't know maybe it's some international factor that pressures them to live up to the Association Agreement, since the Republic of Kosovo has signed that agreement and now we're in front of an international obligation to also establish the association, and that could be a reason”
International and local sources have confirmed the news that a secret meeting took place last Wednesday 19,06.2019, in Berlin.
According to them, the invitation of the closest people to German Chancellor Angela Merkel was held last night in a secret meeting between Kosovo and Serbia. This meeting is held in the offices of German Chancellorship, and representatives of Kosovo, Serbia, the EU, Germany and France have taken part, but not even representatives from the US.
The Serbian side has been led by Marko Djuric, director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's government.
The same international and local sources have confirmed that Prime Minister Haradinaj has already accepted Germany's proposal that Kosovo accept the establishment of association with executive competencies as the key compromise to reaching the final agreement with Serbia.
According to this scenario, Serbia will not need to recognise Kosovo's de jure independence, nor establish diplomatic relations with Kosovo. Serbia will only accept the fact that Kosovo has its own territory.
So Berlin's secret meeting has been aimed at launching the implementation of Germany's scenario to impose a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia the German-German model, which does not ensure formal recognition of Kosovo from Serbia despite the painful compromise of Kosovo.
For this meeting, the leader of the Negotiator Team, Shpend Ahmeti, has been declared, saying they have no knowledge of anything like this./ P ERISCOPI/
