At a news conference in Paris, Paris Archbishop Michel Aupet has said they were not allowed to attend because of security.
The “was an emotional moment, because most of the participants in Mass work in this” cathedral, Aupet said before the media.
Works also continue at a slow pace because, despite the first - day statements of the 850 million euros promised, only 9 percent have come, or an estimated 80 million euros.
