This accident occurred because of a 2.3 - magnitude earthquake, the statement states.
The coal mine is managed by the Longapou Mining Co company, which is a company with partnership victim-private partnership and its capacity totals up to 3 million tons of coal annually.
The coal production has dropped immediately behind the mine, causing electricity crisis and energy price increases.
