He has said the international community should help Bosnia, as according to him, there are no strong leaders who are willing to work for the welfare of citizens.
This conference was organised in honour of the 20th anniversary of Kosovo's freedom, saying the Kosovo case is unique, and has shown that no one will be allowed to exercise violence against a particular group, adding that Albanians have been systematically discriminated against by Slobodan Milosevic's regime, which ended up at The Hague International war crimes tribunal for that reason.
He has also expressed his stance against creating ethnically clean states, saying that all communities within states should live in harmony, and that their report with the state should stabilise.
Any ethnic group should be willing to live within its community in different states. Albanians live in Kosovo, Albania, northern Macedonia, Montenegro. Croatians, Bosniaks, Serbs and other peoples also live in their community, but in various states”, Mesic has said, adding that such a thing would not only relax the reports, but also be a key to lasting peace in general for the countries of the region.
Among other things, it says that membership of Balkan countries in NATO would dramatically change the security of the Balkan region.
