In one of the biggest shocks in the heavy boxing category, Ruiz Jr defeated Anthony Joshua for the three world titles in the heavy category, JBF, WBO and WBA on Sunday morning in the United States.
This was the first career loss for the British boxer, who, in turn, loses the world's three titles. Ruiz, meanwhile, becomes the first Mexican-born boxer to be declared world champion in the heavy category.
Even the former European champion and once challenging title WHO in the difficult category, Luan Krasniqi, has remained shocked by the British's sudden defeat, which he says is curious to know how he will react in the future.
“What a surprise”, Krasniqi wrote on his official page on the social Facebook network.
For me, Anthony Joshua's defeat is one of the biggest shocks in the heavy category”, Krasniqi added.
