Kosovo will mark today's World Accreditation Day, a global initiative, established by the International Trust Forum (FNA) and the International Laborators' Association Co-operation (BANL) to raise awareness of the importance of accreditment.
This year's theme focuses on how accreditation provides added values for supply chains.
The event will highlight key speakers' views on the role of accreditment in support of Kosovo's economy, as well as current policy updates.
World Accredition Day is part of a series of events in the Sustainable Economic Development Field “Let's talk about economy! Kosovo's” of the EU Office in Kosovo, organised by Kosovo's General Director of Access (DAK), which is part of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, in co-operation with the EU-funded “Support of the Free Power Movement in Kosovo”, the project IBF International Consulting. During the celebration, the new logo of the Directorate General for Discension (DAK) will be unveiled.
The “campaign let's talk about economics! ” focuses on demonstrating the EU's commitment to the economic progress already made in Kosovo, as well as the current and future involvement in its development prospects.
It focuses on concrete examples of job creation, foreign investment and successful private sector development, youth and women's engagement in the business sector, support in workplace training, development of startings and entrepreneurship.
Otherwise, this day in the European Union is celebrated by members of the European Co-operation for Recognition (BEA). /
