At this conference, Minister of European Integrations Gift Hoxha has spoken of the benefits of this project.
This project has made a huge contribution over these two years. There are a series of EU projects that are helping in this regard. Offering experience from the EU administration of countries represents an added value to our administration to get the best experiences in this country. We are encouraged by the results of this project. I'm sure this project has strengthened cooperation even further. I thank the EU, the friendly states that participated in this project and continued support for EU integration.
Luigi Brusa from the EU office in Kosovo said Kosovo has a major progress in integration into the European Union.
The path to the SAA agreement has marked a period. There are pledges on both sides, reforms are ambitious. The EU office in Kosovo continues to support these reforms. It was a concrete twinning project. When the project started, it was a year after the SAA's entry into force and we are now in the third year. This deal is comprehensive. I want to thank you for the very good work. It is good that this was a project between Poland, Germany and Croatia. Last year there were 68 per cent of the implementation rate, and that shows it's good”, he said.
Christian Heldt, Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, said the SAA is the journey of Kosovo towards European integration.
” The SAA is the journey of Kosovo towards European integration. It is a significant collaboration for this project. I want to stress how important it is for the EU to really work on this agenda. Everyone must go through it. This process cannot be avoided because it eventually produces only fruit. We are pledging bilateral agreements to support the Kosovo government and the people for EU integration””, he said.
Croatia's prime minister's adviser, Dubravka Vlasic Plese, said Croatia is ready to assist Kosovo in pledges to implement the SAA agreement.
“In our case, the twinning instrument has made a huge contribution to helping our instruments. Based on this experience, we are determined to give these experiences to other countries. This confirms our commitment to sharing the best practices. In implementing reforms and the road ahead. We will help Kosovo fulfil the SAA pledges”, he said.
Finally, a memorandum of understanding has been signed for co-operation and further empowerment. IKAP training capabilities.
