Attending this ceremony was the country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, who has congratulated their graduation, for what he said is the first generation of cadets, who graduated after voting in the Parliament, for transforming the KSF into the army.
You are the first generation of cadets to graduate after the vote in the Parliament, as the Kosovo Army, you are history itself. Thank you for your service. Kosovo as a country comes from challenges from tragedies, it is still challenged, but does not compete with the bad. We know where we come from and we know where we're going”, he said.
While, Defence Minister Rrustem Berisha said the KSF is proud of the boys and girls it has.
” As the prime minister points out, you are the first generation of officers to join. KSF. I always say the KSF is proud of our girls and boys, officers and soldiers. I will pursue our career, I will be retired, but today I am convinced that military generals will arise from you. I am addressing you as an ex-military man, today I am a minister, but once a soldier, always a soldier. You are part of a professional, creditable force that we are forming”, Berisha said.
KSF Commander Nundman Rama has had a message for the graduates.
“Sot is to commend new generations joining him. I assure you that you have done the noble thing in preparation for four years to serve the people. When we started 12 years ago with the preparation of the cadets, we were skeptical of what we could do. Not by chance the KSF is the most reliable institution in Kosovo, we have created identity and image. The purpose of this center is to develop new generations. You will continue to train, my command is in no way to compromise with your homeland”, Rama said.
