June 30th, Presidency reacts after Matthew's statement Palmer

The president's spokesman, Teddy Blushi, questioned by the media on statements made by Palmer in VOA, said the president of the Republic praises the responsible, considerate, and equally disturbing statement by American Congress Foreign Policy Commission Chairman Eliot Engel, whom he calls a true friend of Albania, not actually mentioning Mr. Palmer.

The president of the Republic provides the Chairman of the American Congress Foreign Commission, Mr. Eliot Engel and all of Albania's true friends in the United States, that he is making and will make all efforts for Albania to organise comprehensive, democratic, standard, free and fair local elections, just as a country deserves NATO and a country that wants to become a member of the European Union”, the president's spokesman declares.
