The president of Ukraine's National Journalists' Union, Sergiy Tomilenko, announced that the journalist died of injuries suffered following the May 4th attack.
The only reason for the attack and murder is the professional activity of Vadim Komarov”, Tomilenko explained.
Kommarov was an inappropriate character for many local politicians. He asked unpleasant questions about corruption, and he touched on topics that had great impact”, he concluded.
