Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj is participating in Washington at the world's largest antisematism forum, which is being held in the United States this year.
At the opening of the conference, Hoxhaj has met dozens of American personalities and from the world including American Jewish Comitte Executive Director David Harris, who in his address has mentioned Kosovo and Slobodan Milosevic's ethnic cleansing 20 years ago.
Hoxhaj, who takes part in such an event for the first time, has said that his “participation speaks of an even greater recognition of the Kosovo issue in the world and a greater approach not only political but also cultural and economically with states that do not recognise Kosovo's independence”.
Conference “AJC Global Forum 2019”, which is organised annually, gathers up to 1,000 participants from around the world. Last year he was held in Jerusalem, this year in Washington and in Berlin by 2020.
Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj is the first Kosovo invited politician.
