Hoxhaj vs Balkan Union: We don't need the new Yugoslavia

A few hours after publishing a long article in the Vienna daily Die Presse, allegedly creating a Balkan Union as an alternative to collective membership of countries, Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj has reacted. He has said that “this idea is how old so unstable and contrary to any decades of investment that has been made in Western Balkan countries to participate in the European family”.
Hoxhaj in a Twitter response to this idea has said the EU enlargement with new states from the Western Balkans is the only alternative. Not the Western Balkan Union (Yugoslavia)”.
In the long article, the paper wrote about the idea of the Balkan Union.
The proposal for new reports between the EU and the Western Balkans is necessary for this reason, offering: You create within ten years the Balkan Union according to identical EU model by removing borders, with unique markets of four fundamental freedoms, joint energy policy, joint telecommunications policy, communications, all along with civic rights”, the paper wrote.
