Numerous foreign tourists have been accommodated through tourist agencies at hotels along the coast of Durres. There are other tourists who have chosen to rest on Albanian coasts without the entity of agencies. Laura is an Italian from Perugia, which brought to Albania curiosity to recognise the origin of some of her employees.
“I have employed four Albanian workers and decided to use the direct line from Perugia and see Albania. I was amazed by the sea and the hotel and the service here. The hospitable people. Clean beach and all good. I've been 5-6 years, and every year the country gets better. The streets are asphalted and clean now. The mall that is being built between the sea and hotels is also a good investment. Food and cooking. Prices are very good”, Italian tourist says.
The flight of vacationers, this weekend, has also made it enjoyable for tourist operators to say that this late season was affected not only by weather conditions but by the political climate in the country.
“The season is too late and the cause has been the weather and protests that have greatly influenced. We hope the next few days will come and the tourist groups. May has been very bad, but June has started well and we're ready for this” season, said Arben Drjaja, tourist operator.
