The new Gjilan promenade was inaugurated

On the day of the liberation of Gjilan, the city's new promenade was inaugurated.

Gjilan Mayor Lutfi Haziri, at the inauguration ceremony, said it is a restoration of memory for the gentians.

This is one of the projects we've wanted to turn into a joy of liberation, because this has been the biggest problem it's been going on with Gjilan for 50 years now. He confirmed that this project will continue until the completion of the Mirusha River bed at a length of 3km.

Haziri said the Gjilan municipality is in the process of implementing 37 infrastructure projects with its own budget, in co-operation with the government budget and with foreign donors.

In the end, Gjilan's first apologised to the citizens this project has been realised with a 20-year delay since the post-war war.
