The G20's “Liders agreed on the need for member states to lead in global economic growth”, Abe said at a media conference.
He praised American President Donald Trump and Chinese Xi Jinping for reaching reconciliation to return to the negotiating table in order to overcome trade disputes.
The G20's “Liders were reconciled on the fundamental principles supporting a free trade system, which is to ensure that there is a free and not discriminated against”, Abe said.
In the joint statement, <x0gting and geopolitical tensions have intensified”.
All G20 states, except for the United States, reaffirmed their commitment to the Paris Agreement for Combating Climate Change, where in the final statement they said this agreement is the irreversible “”.
