Although almost every day in northern Mitrovica reports of various criminal and anti-conventional acts, Kosovo Police in northern Mitrovica, across northern station commander Djordje Karamarkovic, has reported a decline in all criminal and counter-vast acts in the northern part of Mitrovica in the first five months of this year (January 31st).
At the North Mitrovica Parliament session, where the security situation in the northern part has been discussed, Karamarkovic has submitted the 5-month police report. According to him, for five months (January 2019) 106 cases, criminal acts and counterbelievers have been opened, Zeri writes.
“in the same period last year has prosecuted 147 cases, and compared to this year's results, there has been a notable decline in criminal and counter-invasive cases. Also, the level of criminal offense detection has increased. It means all cases of criminal acts and backlogs are on the decline, starting with theft, attempted attempts, severe theft, minor bodily injuries, serious bodily injuries, beatings, domestic violence, breaking order and quiet. All deliquent behavior is smaller by 25 percent compared with the previous year”, Karamarkovic explained, adding that in the same period last year, the discovery rate has been 31.2 percent, while in the first five months of this year, the rate of whiteling criminal cases with unknown perpetrators is 75,74 percent.
