European Union officials have been calling on Kosovo to testify to its continued efforts in rule of law, migration and security in order to prepare a positive context for the eventual decision by member states on visa liberalisation.
According to them, the EU decision-making process for visas is under way, writes “Voice”.
The 2019 report confirms the European Commission's support to complete this process as urgent issues. It is up to the EU member states to represent the EU Council together with the European Parliament to make the final decision. It is important that Kosovo witness its continued efforts in rule of law, migration and security in order to prepare a positive context for the EU Member States' final decision”, the EU Office's response to visas in Pristina says.
