The team that will travel to France's capital will be led by the state leadership, Koha Ditore writes today.
Government has shown that representation will be conducted according to hierarchy.
“At the Paris meeting, from Kosovo will travel -- the president, prime minister, prime minister, chief parliament and co-chairman of the state delegation, Limaj and Ahmeti” -- has said Donjet Gashi, adviser to the media of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj. “As far as the chairmanship is concerned, you know I believe that the State Protocol determines the” hierarchy.
Based on the Law on Protocol, the president represents the highest authority in Kosovo, the Speaker of the Assembly is the second authority in the priority row, while behind him is the prime minister, as the highest rank of executive power.
Meanwhile, a resolution that this year has adopted the Parliament stipulates that the state delegation for negotiations with Serbia “will be entity/organ's only authorised to engage in the dialogue process” and that it “will retain the exclusive right to communication and public interpretation of proceedings, content and achievements in the dialogue process”.
