German Bundestag President Wolfgang Schable has sent a letter to Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Wessel in which he appreciates the achievements marked in Kosovo 20 years after the war. This Shawble letter comes after what Wessel has sent him about his initiative for the International Tribunal for the Serbian genocide. He emphasises that Germany feels responsibility for its commitment to Kosovo, to ensure peace and stability for its future and for the region.

Bundestag's president emphasises that Germany also agrees with the pain of war victims in Kosovo and stresses that they are a reminder for Europe in the commitment to peace and dialogue in the Balkans.

Schable in the letter emphasises that German Bundestagur parliamentary commissions have been announced with Wessel's letter and that they will be handled by each commission, the one for foreign policy, the Commission for Human Rights, as well as by the Defence Commission. Germany's letter is the second moment, after the American Congress, which held a session for the war in Kosovo.
