The Ministry of Diaspore and Strategic Investments will be the main institution responsible for advancing relations with the diaspora, drafting policies, legislation, projects, and programmes linking Kosovo's businesses with those in the diaspora, RTV Dukajni reports.
In the bill, the Cultural Centres will be formed under the diplomatic mission at the location of the wait, which will be formed by the Diaspora Ministry. The Cultural Centre should have the Director, who will have the diplomatic rank of Kosovo's diaspora attaché.
This director will regularly inform the Kosovo ambassador and the respective diaspora ministry of his work. These centres will be responsible for promoting Kosovo's language, culture and cultural heritage, promoting co-operation, promoting investments in Kosovo, helping diaspora NGOs in their activities, realise research and analysis for the diaspora.
In co-ordination with the Ministry of Education, the distribution of books on the progress of our country's official languages and culture. Also have electronic access to Kosovo textbooks, and a separate website for the diaspora.
On the other hand, for those diaspora students, who choose schools or public universities in Kosovo for learning Albanian language, to share scholarships, reliefs for admission at these universities, tariffs are the same as students from Kosovo.
The diaspora day has been scheduled for August 2nd. According to this law, Kosovo Radio Television is obliged to open the television channel for the diaspora. And on board at least one member should be from the diaspora.
This law abolishes the preliminary Law for the diaspora and the exile of 2012.
