Because of this, many countries in the world have turned away from using plastic items that are used only once, such as plastic bottles and anything else.
But Kosovo, which generally has major problems with environmental pollution, is far from that, KTV reports.
Only businesses are estimated to produce plastic bags worth 5m euros annually.
The culture of uncontrolled distribution of bags from stores, but their frequent use by citizens also remains a concern.
In addition to the great use, Kosovo remains poor in their treatment, as such bags are found everywhere and there is no place where they can be recycled.
Kosovo continues to be the only country in the region, which has not stopped using plastic bags, has shown a research by the Democratic Institute of Kosovo.
The best way to get out of this situation, according to environmentalists, is to reduce the use of the Ministry of Environment through an Administrative Guide.
But, the minister of this dictatorship, Fatmir Matoshi, says the reason why this administrative directive is not coming into force is that bag producers have asked for another case until tow create the conditions for producing non-metal bags.
While the Minister of Environment, Dardan Gashi, had entered into force Administrative Guide that prevented production, import and marketing of plastic bags, but had not been implemented.
According to that instruction, products should be carried, not in plastic bags, but in those with non - Biblical or textile content.
A plastic bag or bottle is estimated to remain in the environment for up to 400 years until it can be distributed.
