Italian Francis Galdel, accused of presenting himself as George Clooney to promote a special brand of clothing, was arrested along with his wife, Vanja Goffi, in Thailand after several years of departure.
Galdel (58) and Goffi (45) were on Interpol's redlist since 2013.
The American actor indicted them, and at the trial in Italy in 2010, he testified against them and said they used his fake name to promote fashion business, Kosovas broadcasts.
They are also charged with a number of other frauds in Italy.
The couple fled their country to escape arrest, and after the notorious U.S. banks robbery they were named Bonny and Clyde Italian.
They lived in Thailand from selling fake Rolex watches online.
Thailand's Crime Prevention Division said Francesco Galdeli was arrested Saturday near the town of Pattaya, on suspicion of illegally staying in the country, while Vanja Gofi was arrested on suspicion of exceeding the visa deadline.
