We will never forget the past, and forgiveness is very difficult when it comes to crimes of that kind. So by committing to justice, we will have the most secure future and history will not repeat”, Wessel stressed.
Wessel said the final agreement with Serbia is important for Kosovo in order to safely move towards Euro-Atlantic integration. Furthermore, he added, it is necessary for generations to come to provide a stable, peaceful environment, suitable to promote economic development.
I was at war. Few know better than in the sense of war and the price that can be paid. That's why I want it never to happen again. This is accomplished through justice and punishment of criminals”, Wessel stressed.
