Mr. Trump made his comments to the White House before leaving for a trip to Colorado.
A day earlier, Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller said that “had not sufficient evidence” to accuse the president of conspiring during the 2016 elections, but added that the investigation also did not conclude that the president has committed any kind of adultery”.

Mr. Mueller's report mentions several possible cases that the president may be charged with obstruction of justice.
In a response after this statement, House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who is under pressure from some Democrats who support the launch of the president's discharge procedure, said that “nothing has been removed table”.
Asked if you expect such a thing, President Trump said he sees no possibility of how they can do so.
