Four people were arrested yesterday in Pristina after an operation conducted at a private clinic in the Pristina region. They allegedly committed criminal acts against illegal transplantation and trafficking of human organs and cells and co-ordination.
According to Polisica, this joint police operation has been realised with other institutions, such as health inspectors from the Ministry of Health and after these investigative actions, the suspects -- two (2) men and two (2) women -- have been arrested.
“During this police operation as material evidence from the health inspectorate has been seized: copies of medical files, notebooks with various notes and other documents. The three suspects at the prosecutor's order have been assigned a 48-hour ban, while one has been released in regular procedure. Four suspects are arrested in criminal acts against illegal transplantation and trafficking of human organs and cells and co-ordination, said the communique.
