There, Thaci has said that with this plaque, Prizren, the state of Kosovo, and the entire Albanian nation is magnifying. The country's president has said he is optimistic that the United States of America will put pressure on Belgrade for the leaders of the massacres to receive due punishment.

After the plaque was discovered, Thaci said the Bytyqi brothers are heroes of the nation who gave everything for Kosovo's freedom and independence.

He said the Bytyqi brothers are the liberation emblems of the Republic of Kosovo.

We know that justice has not yet gone to the right place for killing the Bytyqi brothers, and many other cases, massacres to the extent of genocide by Serbia. But I am optimistic that the United States of America will make the right pressure in Belgrade so that the killers of the Bytyqi brothers and the leaders of many other massacres, who are also in power in Serbia, will receive the due sentence”, he said.

Thaci said he feels honored as president of the country who is making the discovery of this memorial plaque, along with the Bytyqi brothers' mother, Bahrie Bytyqi, who made efforts February to say a few words to her fallen sons.

My children are not just our children, they are all who are Albanian, where they are and where they are not, they are with them. They have come, not just for me, but all Albanians were helped”, she said.

The memorial tablet for the Bytyqi brothers is currently located in the Prizren Orthodox, near the school “Abdyl Frasher”.

The Bytyqi brothers are remembered as Albanian-American heroes who gave up their lives in the United States and came to join the KLA war, through Atlantic Battalion and the Battle of Patrick.
