Tahiri: Our citizens will return from Syria, even if they are terrorists

In KTV's interactive, Tahiri has indicated on the move to return 110 Kosovo citizens from Syria in April.

They're victims. The event has lasted about six months with US support. Nine of the children are orphans, without both parents. For some of them, the State has provided shelter. The majority are in their families, while part of the suspected women are under house arrest, and for those we have evidence, they are in prison”, Tahiri said.

He said the risk of returnees was well analysed by AKI, saying Kosovo has avoided risks far greater than Syria returnees.

He said there are still children in war zones, but not in the area where the first group has returned. Remaining in war zones, according to Tahiri, are on the border with the Turkish state.

It won't be easy to get out of these areas. We'll try, whether they're victims or terrorists. We do not allow our citizens to be a threat to the world”, Tahiri said.

He said the action on the return of Kosovo's citizens from war zones in Syria has also informed the states of Quinti.

Tahiri said Kadri Wessel is the only candidate for PDK chairman, as well as will be mandated for Kosovo's prime minister in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
