Protest on opening day of highway “Arba Xhaferi”

The same day has been warned in protest by residents of the village of Paldenica, in sign of dissatisfaction with the closure of several village roads, KTV reports.

Residents blame the Ministry of Infrastructure and company “Bechl Enka” for failure to fulfill promises.

Along with the residents, the chairman of Elez Khan, Rufki Suma, will protest, who has said that these measures have been forced by the disregard of central institutions.

Suma has stressed that he has invited Infrastructure Deputy Minister Rexhep Kadriu to see the situation closely, but despite confirmation, he has not realised the visit.

Since the start of building this highway, residents of this village have protested dozens of times. In protest, those weeks earlier had made a pedestrian crossing in the middle of the “Arbabe Xhaferi”.
