In the afternoons today, Kosovo police have also arrested two police officials -- one in Jarinje (border crossing) and the other in southern Mitrovica.
As the Kosovo Police Inspectorate reports, today's arrests of D.P. and V border police officials. T, there are continuation of the operation, dubbed “smuggling” that took place on May 28th in co-operation with the Kosovo Police at several locations in the country's north and wider.
“Operation “smuggling” has preceded a several-month investigation of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate and KP led by Kosovo Special Prosecution, which has resulted in the suspicion of involvement of several police officials and some citizens in: “Pjesis or organisation of the criminal group”, in connection with other criminal acts “contraguesms with goods”, <x>s>
Arrested by the decision of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo has been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours until the continuation of other judicial procedures”, the report says.
