Poland seeks compensation from Germany for World War II losses

Official Berlin insists that Poland has relinquished these rights in 1953 while under Moscow's control.
Mularcik, however, told the AP that such a thing has not been proven and that a copy of the 1953 note signed by the then Polish leader was not legally binding.
He believes compensation would improve bilateral relations with Berlin and said Poland was not adequately compensated for the human and material losses it suffered during the German occupation.
Mularcik, otherwise, leads a team of experts who calculate the losses and intends to present them to the German state, the Kosovo Press broadcasts.
