Voter-rights have 57,983 people in 87 countries, or 970 more voters, compared to the October 22nd 2017 local elections.

The extraordinary elections are being held in Leposaviq, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and Northern Mitrovica, following the mayors' resignation there due to the 100 per cent tax on products originating from Serbia.

For elections in the north, 12 candidates from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Vetevendosje Movement and the Serbian List compete.

The Central Election Commission in these four municipalities has engaged about 670 commissionors. Meanwhile, the number of applicant observers from the CEC who will be able to follow the vote is about 500 observers. These observers represent two political parties, two international missions, two liaison offices, 12 embassies, two international non-governmental organisations, four local non-government organisations and 16 media homes.
