Ukrainian sailors have been captured by Russia along with three Ukrainian ships due to an incident at the Kerk shipyard in November last year.
“NATO repeatedly repeats that there is no excuse for Russia to use military force against Ukrainian ships and sailors. We continue to call on Russia for the release of Ukrainian sailors and ships without delay,” said in the statement.
The United Nations International Marine Court has ruled that Russia must free the sailors and return ships to Ukraine.
