The municipality warns its citizens: Mobilise, rainfall in 72 hours

According to warnings made by the Hidrology Sector of the Hydrometeorological Institute, floods will occur in Kosovo from tomorrow (Saturday) due to large resources that will include the country in the coming days.

It is predicted that rainfall will be constant for 72 hours with an amount of >30 mm, and high productivity of extreme rainfall, floods, and landslides in sensitive areas. The most hit areas will be the western and southern part of the country.

The Suhareka municipality has established this concern today at the regular meeting of the Council of Directors and the Directorate of Pulic and Emergency Services has become known that rescue and emergency teams have been mobilised and will be active all the time, as well as will be in service to those in need.

It is required by citizens to take action earlier and be ready for any confrontation with possible flooding.

We remember that the Suhareka Community last year was faced with floods where the damage was enormous.
