He said the action began Monday in Prizren, and this is evidence that the country's institutions are committed to fighting against corruption and organised crime without compromise, and to extend constitutionality and rule of law throughout the territory of the Republic.
Minister Tahiri's full statement:
This week's start began with a Kosovo Police action to impose a group of people on charges of corruption and organised crime.
Shares launched yesterday in Prizren have continued to this day in the country's north.
This investigation and these shares once again testify to the commitment of Kosovo institutions to fight against corruption and organised crime without compromise, and to extend constitutionality and rule of law throughout the territory of the Republic.
Crime and corruption will not hold the future of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo hostage.
No one can direct peace or distort the reality of actions based on order and law.
As a sovereign country whose entire territory functions a unique judicial order based on the country's Constitution, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo should feel secure that our institutions will leave no space for anyone and nothing to burden life and undermine security through corruption and organised crime.
